I love the name James. one of my favourites, and a classic name you can't go wrong with. Their are a range of nicknames (Jay, Jamie etc.) or he can just use James on it's own. great name :)
All of those names are incredibly plain and common,. Be ready for him to be called by his first name and last initial at school, to separate him from all the other Robs and Nicks in his class.

Nicholas or James. Nicholas you could call him Nick, Nicky, Nico, or Cole. James you could call him James, Jamie, Jim, or Jimmy. Robert and Daniel seem kinda blahhh to me.What do you think of these baby boy names?
I love Daniel/Danny because I think it suits a wide range of boys/men

I don't really like James because it is so common, or Robert because I think it is too old.

I quite like Nicholas but not the nickname Nick!
